About the Author

Ms. Aslan lives a quiet and peaceful life with Michael, her partner of twenty years. She is an avid tennis player and loves to sit outside reading, listening to birds, and watching wildlife. Having eclectic interests, she loves playing game like Borderlands and Forza 5 on her X-Box, listening to Science Fiction and Fantasy novels, as well as watching all genres of streaming series. In addition, now that she is retired, she loves never  having to worry about dressing for work or setting her alarm.

When Ms. Aslan was a teenager, she created the pen name Rebecca Colt Aslan based on three of her favorite books. Rebecca because she loved reading Daphne du Maurier, and especially loved her novel, Rebecca. Colt because her grandfather used to tell her about how she sat on his lap reading a book about horses to him more times than he could count. Aslan because C. S. Lewis created a character who meant more to her than he ever could have imagined. She dreamt countless times of Aslan coming to rescue her.
